The $16.00 off coupon sent to me via email, when printed, did not have the bar code, hence the tech handling did not honor the printed coupon. ( We live 45 minutes from the Valvoline Store) I called the sore as soon as my spouse got home and told me what had happened. No Manager available, a tech, claiming to be Assistant Manager said to come back in the morning and would cancel the previous invoice, and create another invoice with the corrected discount ( I showed them the coupon on my iPhone proving that our request was legitimate, despite the fact that the coupon we presented was factual. It is not my fault that Valvoline failed to include bar code in transmittal. Once Back, another 1hr 30min wasted, I was then told they just called the manager, and that they could not do this, And that I would have to contact " Corporate" to cancel the previous invoice and get corrected! Again, one hand not knowing what the other was doing, exacerbated by a faulty Online coupon distribution system, a remote off site manager, and a staff that was unqualified to problem solve. Valvoline, the location and the service have not earned my continued patronage of the five cars we own.
