The only Issue here was that they did not use an oil velocity that's recommended by my vehicle manufacture, that's even a beyond rookie mistake. it clearly indicates on the engine oil cap what should be used. they go in the back room and they fill up a clear jug with oil and they add it to the engine, i did not question it at the time of the fill up but when they were finalizing the paperwork that's when i asked which velocity did they use, when we realized the mistake was made he offered to dump the oil and replace it with a correct product. i did not wanted to be wastefully and i told them that it was ok and i will correct the issue next time i do the oil change. they should never allow this mistake to happen again to any customer, make a label for each jug that would say 5W30 0W20 and in the back room each pour handle should have a label that says which oil goes in the jug, like that the customer would have a full assurance.

They are always friendly and recognize me from past visits. Professional attitude and warm welcomes! On my last visit I mentioned to JJ my car seemed louder and I hear a rattling noise in the back. He took a quick look and noticed flex pipe was becoming detached. He was absolutely on target - and it will be repaired next week. One of his co workers also mentioned he is very car knowledgable - which is an awesome comment from a co worker! I AGREE!

I had a 9am appointment for a NY State inspection. I arrived a few minutes before 9am. There was no team member to greet me. Another customer entered the location through the back door and got the attention of one of the team members in the garage area. At that point the team member exited the garage area. I got his attention and I told him I had a 9am appointment. When the inspection was completed the team member exited the garage area and showed me my oil filter and cabin air filter were dirty and should be replaced. I asked him to replace the oil filter but not the cabin air filter. When I started driving home I turned the defrost on and noticed the cover for the cabin air filter was on the floor on the passenger side. The team member had not put the cabin air filter cover back on. Also, the new inspection sticker is smudged and difficult to read. This visit was a disaster. I will not use Valvoline Instant Oil change ever again. I am skeptical that he installed the oil filter properly. If there is a problem with the oil filter I will be contacting Valvoline Instant Oil Change.

My receipt said I declined air filters; my filters were not checked; nor were they ever discussed. My Tec told me my radiator was empty and told me he could “top it off” and did not discuss pricing. I’m knowledgable he was not capable opening my radiator in that time frame. The Tec was not communicative about what was being done with my car to the extent that I asked what my tire pressure was being filled to assuring they knew I got my tires checked.
