Main reason for using your store is location / convenience. As other quick lube I used was across town. I loved / miss the little perks they gave.. 1.) asked if wanted a bottle water while we waited. 2.) Asked if wanted an air freshener for car. 3.) Cleaned your windows.These simple items would take your location up and above a 5 star and give a more personal experience to your customers.

When I got home approximately 45 miles from the service center I noticed a dragging sound. When I pulled into my garage I noticed my skid plate dragging on the ground. I was hesitant on going to Valvoline again for and oil change because, my wife had her oil changed there approximately 2 months ago. When we were on a trip to SD we had to stop because of noise under her vehicle. Her skid plate was dragging. I went to this location and thought I would give it another try. I should have trusted my gut and went somewhere else or did it myself. I will never go to Valvoline to get my oil changed. And you can bet that I will let everyone I know about my experiences. I call the store and the manager stated someone put 4 bolts in to hold it in place. It would have been nice to know that they were doing that and also that they do not know how to secure a skid plate. Now I get to order parts and fix it right instead of just throwing it together to get it out the door.

The tech that greeted me (Heath) was very kind and professional and making sure I was comfortable while getting taken care of in the service line. I didn’t get an oil change like I had planned, but it was because the tech (Cody) came up explained why it wouldn’t be a good idea with my car, and I like how even though I’m a girl he still took the time to explain it and dumb it down for me. Most shops won’t do that nowadays and I respect him so much for that. Tyeson and Aiden were also such a joy because they took the time to guide me in and out of the shop and were attentive to making sure I got the wiper blades I needed and made it a smooth and easy process. I recommend this shop because they experience all around was fantastic they went the extra mile with their customer service!

Bottom side Cody did well and greased zerks without asking, CSR would not allow me to stand outside the vehicle in the parking lot to observe work being done. Emma topside friendly but couldn’t follow simple instructions. I asked to drain oil, add my provided oil, filter, and drain plug gasket. I realize my truck is recommended 7.9 qt. Full is 8.5 qt. She seemed not to want to trust my request and was hesitant. In addition, I run winter washer fluid year round. It has a higher methanol concentration than standard blue. She just watered down my winter mix. I requested this service to not be performed. I felt like I got service from kids who are in experienced and cannot follow simple instructions. Labor was $40 dollars to drop and fill oil that is over priced. If I have a similar experience I will find someone who can follow instructions and does not mind me observing from the parking lot.
